The modular TAK design ensures compliance with a large variety of disinfection requirements, e.g. USEPA standards for discharge, NWRI guidelines for reuse, etc.

For the correct sizing either calculated UV dose models such as PSS (Point Source Summation) or biodosimetric validation test results can be applied.  Bioassays have been conducted for reuse applications according to NWRI and for secondary discharge according to a protocol based on latest USEPA design guidelines.

In addition, site-specific pilot test can be performed to ensure safe disinfection of special water qualities.
